It's awkward getting hit on by young girls?

I am 29 yrs old. However I am always mistaken for a teenager. I often get asked what High School do you go to? Near my job there's a High School. I've been stopped a few times by cops thinking I am skipping school. I often get hit on or stared at by teenage girls, which is awkward. When they stare at me I don't look back, since they are minors. I notice some get frustrated when I don't pay them any mind. Some start sucking their teeth. One thing a notice about NYC girls/women is they crave attention and status. When they don't receive it, they often become upset. When approached I tell them my real age and they are always shocked. Crazy enough some girls don't care about the age difference (Here in NYC there are many young girls who date guys in their 20's). I just walk away at that point.
