People 30+, what's something that happened back your day?

I remember dial-up internet, where the phone and internet were on the same line, and if someone in your house wanted to use the phone you had to stop using the internet for a bit 馃榿.

I remember renting video games at blockbuster and late fees.

@Lostpoet One time my brothers and I broke a Blockbuster VHS tape and our parents had to pay for it. They were not happy 馃槀.

@SW-User Lol. We used to build buildings and garages for our toy trucks. I thought VHS tapes were indestructible.

@Lostpoet Well, they don't like to be rewinded and fast-forwared over and over again, that's for sure.
LostpoetM
@SW-User I do remember the vcr sometimes eating the tapes and you had to by head cleaner.
@Lostpoet If you miss late fees, just don't return your copy of The Brothers Karamazov to the library.
@Lostpoet God I don't miss it. Good riddance to the world that was when were kids... Blockbuster and Hollywood video went under in huge part because they deserved to.

My sister WORKED for Hollywood Video, they made MOST of their Money off late fees. Reed Hasting's got PISSED and founded Netflix pretty much to get revenge and that's why I admire him..,. I've never quiet been so fond of a rich person.
