What age were you when you had your most difficult year?

Although I have only turned 22. This year so far is definitely my worst one yet 😑

Why is that? At age 22 I started to have my worst 2 years ever. It started out great. I graduated professional school, started my career, fell in love, got married...and then my adoptive mother died a few months before my wedding. I have PTSD from childhood disasters and I wasn't handling her death well. My adoptive father,a retired marine who I bonded with in a much deeper way , tore me a new one for letting my mother's death consume me and make me act out. Then 3 months after the wedding he passed. I was a complete mess. And the next 9 months I was so ugly at home that my husband left me and took up with another woman. That was the low point. I lost both parents and the love of my life in a year's time. So I fought back! I went and got him and brought him home and I worked to repair and improve on my marriage. All he wanted was the girl he fell in love with and not a psychotic biatch...and I couldn't fault him for that. My marriage is the anchor of who I am. It is amazing and we are both in love...after nearly 18 years. It worked out but I was lucky. Hope your issues turn out !😉

@TexChik Im so happy for you but you really shouldn’t blame yourself treat much. Marriage is about “in sickness and in health” and for him to leave you while you were clearly going through a tough time is not 100% your fault.

Happy you are both happy now though
