Does anyone else get annoyed when people compliment them excessively?

Anyone else? Or am I just a fucking prick?

I don’t know, I don’t mind a compliment, I love them. But if you are constantly doing it, it feels like you are kissing ass. It just gets on my nerves

In this particular situation, it was a guy. But it could be woman too, it’s still annoying

@SabrinaL I only really trust compliments on my looks from other women. Otherwise I trust their motives.

@MirroroftheMoon A guy would have to be a good friend and have earned my trust. Motives are still suspect but I can trust them not to betray our friendship and that’s enough, so I can deal with it. 🖤
