@ordinaryguy without getting personal, I own a farm and 3 homes in the U.S. and one abroad. Two are rented. My phone was $40 with a prepaid plan $35.oo. Really! I can call,text, and use internet, 1Gig. That's more than I need. My time is important and valuable. I don't spend it on a phone. All of my daughter's have $1200+ cell phones..I just shake my head🙄
@RenaissanceMan wow. thats very good to hear these. thanks for sharing. I think after a certain line rich people tend to spend less. I know a few rich people who use almost the cheapest watches and tshirts :) as long as they function the same y should i pay more. But i think this point of view comes with experience which is not much present in the young ppl (including your daughter :)
@ordinaryguy thank-you. My daughter's are spoiled. And to think back...My youngest daughter and I were homeless at one time. Happiness does not cause contentment. Being content with what you have brings happiness.
@RenaissanceManyou should be a very hardworking man. you should be proud of the progress you have done. i think almost all young people are influeneced from one another in bad ways unfortunately. But you are a wise man and im sure you are a good father as well. I am sure they will get more mature in no time believe me .

@ordinaryguy I believe I earned it. What gives me the greatest sense of accomplishment now is that I have the ability to help so many other people on a daily basis. This is my retirement home. I'm done. Just closed on this in January. It's like a resort, pool,waterfall,tennis courts,lake in the backyard,forest and wildlife. I appreciate your reply. If interested, stay in touch. I plan on doing 2 or 3 benefit concerts here for charities every year and wine tasting parties for the same😊
