The thing is that Cary Grant's outfit, while having some dated features, could still be worn in a business or formal social setting and be admired. There is no excuse for the other "costume" Fops like me still go back to the [i]Esquire[/i] and [i]Apparel Arts[/i] of the thirties for style examples. Here is one.
