As a kid/teen did you have to move to another country?

Not by choice. Did you adapt or no? Did you leave your old life behind? Tell me your story.

I moved to a different state (still within the USA), it takes me a while to adapt to changes, but it does happen.

@BluntSm0ker For starters I'm not the most sosical person. I struggled to make new friends and I'm very close to the vest... until I feel like I can trust someone. And I wasn't as involved in things as first... I really think sports helped me get out of that funk and adapt more/quicker.

Two it was a culture shock, in a couple of different ways.

I went from a school of 3 grades with 3,000 kids, mixed races and everything mixed, and no one knew half of the people, also building were very new. Also very mild weather, no extremes other than a few days of heat MAYBE.

To a school of of 3 grades, less than 900 kids, 95% white (I'm white), and they had all more or less knew each other for the last 3 years or longer. Building was pretty old, had no AC which was alright for most of the year. Extrmeme weather especially cold and snow... but could get super humid in spring/summer.

@BluntSm0ker With country switching, did they speak the same language?

Verbal in the new area was a bit different too.

I certainly had turds as well, especially that first year... and the main one was a rich ass, good looking, spoiled brat! Who literally was like a movie, he had everything and a freaking a hole to boot!
