Do people have trouble telling if you're serious or not?

As someone who is serious 95% of the time, I think when I do attempt a joke, people take it seriously and it backfires.

There's also the small problem of me just not being funny. 😩

Yes, for similar reasons, and the fact that my sense of humor is dry, my delivery rather deadpan and sarcastic. It definitely doesn’t always translate online. 😏

@bijouxbroussard Yes, that describes my sense of humor as well. I also tend to be more humorous with outgoing people who have a great sense of humor. With other serious quiet people we tend to just stare at each other awkwardly.
