Funny to come back to this post today. My dear friend and sister would have been 63 today...we became friends when she was 18. Not comparing losses...it just never stops...that empty space in your life when you loved them so much. I wish you didn't have to feel the pain LO ❤️

Very similar. My son would be 37, I’d probably have grandchildren...Mother’s Day bites for me, but I’ll celebrate my own mother for as long as I have her. 😔

I've learned to live with the fact that I'll never have the kind of relationship that I would have liked to have with my parents, though we have learned to coexist peacefully (for the most part).
