Misconceptions about feminist movements ?

People generally have a false notion that the feminists aim to build a world where males are reduced to the status of animals and obedient house pets.
It's not true. Rather it is targeting a world full of harmony where women are treated fairly.

[c=#359E00]we already treated fairly. We're not living in 500 BC or 200 BC where men saw us as an object[/c]

@YukikoAmagi it's not a difference of opinion. May be it has more to do with the part of the world that we come from. Where do you live ?
@BoldSam [c=#359E00]Indonesia[/c]

@YukikoAmagi Nice place. I belong to India and here situations are not very friendly for women. For example I am in a relationship with a younger man and we had to face objections from all corners . If it was the other way round no one cared.
@BoldSam [c=#359E00]it's not unfriendly situation, people always complaint about other people action, not only to women but to men also. That's just how society work, especially modern society, people will always find something to complaint[/c]

@YukikoAmagi Yes it can be told about society as in general. But I feel the criticisms are more biased towards women. My boyfriend is 23 now and he is an adult. He is free to make his life decisions. Yet his parents are concerned about him being in a relationship with me. Forget parents, society has no business in our life.
@BoldSam [c=#359E00]it's not only women who suffered from this problem but entire gender and age range. So this is not a specifically feminist problem, rather it's a society problem as entire entity. The feminist are just trying to fit in their ideals here[/c]

Where as in case of men there is not much noise created. But I agree with you this is a generic problem. I just opened up on the problem that is troubling me at the moment because we were at ease communicating. The real issue is that women are still treated as second class citizens in many part of the world. May be it is different in developed countries. The feminist movements in developed countries is more of greediness and hate . And that is really masking the genuine problems of women in backward countries. That's why I mentioned there is a misconception.
@BoldSam [c=#359E00]this perspective of 'women as second class citizen' was born because much of Asian countries start to import ideology and perspective of western ideology. But oh well.. this is just how world moving toward into..[/c] 🤷

@YukikoAmagi In Asian countries women don't have a choice of who they are going to marry. Male children are treated differently that the female children.
@BoldSam [c=#359E00]your kind of thinking is exactly how modern western ideology think. By the way, i'm off now, leave me message if you still want to discuss[/c] 😁
