When was the last time you were sincerely surprised? What happened?

I feel like the older I get the less often I am especially surprised by how life turns out , but a few things have happened lately that I really didn’t see coming, and the unexpected turn of events actually feels pretty good.

The first curveball had me frozen in disbelief, but I feel like I handled pretty well.
The second dominos effect I didn’t fully anticipate was alarming, but I knocked out of the park.
The third surprise could turn out to be amazing, but it’s too soon to tell.

Still.. I’m an over-analytical person, so it feels good when life isn’t so predictable .
