My mother's love which began the day I was born. And ended abruptly and suddenly in 1950 when I was five years old.
Christmas with My grandma, not too much else, my childhood was pretty horrible.

Good music playing on the radio.
Good shows on television.
Playing the piano.
The garden we had, and watching the butterflies in the back yard.
Our dog.
The few friends I had.
How easy it was for me to trust that people meant what they said, and that others had the same morals that I had.
My trust that my parents would never cross a certain line with me, that everything they did was somehow for my good.
My trust that God would protect me as long as I was good.
The hope that I would have children someday, which has been fading these last few years.
