What's the first thing you wanted to do when you turned 18?

@SW-User They tricked me into getting one of my middle names removed a few weeks before because, "Oh you have too many and filing out papers is going to be so hard, you should just get one removed" and I didn't know how long it was going to get my birth certificate back, it ended up taking a few months, so I wasn't able to get my license or ID because of it and I couldn't go stay at an apartment or anything either. I have it now but I need to get my license and a place to stay before I can leave, and I need a place that I can take my dog and cats with me because I can't leave them with my parents. I also don't have any family or friends to stay with or anything because my parents never let me around anyone while I was under 18, so I just don't really know anyone who would let me.

I can relate... it’s sad. I’m in no position to give advice but I hope you get through with it. Do everything one step at a time and gather what you need to be on your own, docit secretly and don’t make it obv don’t tell them your business @millielovesapples

@millielovesapples why are they so controlling towards your life.

@SW-User I'm working on getting out of the situation but it's really hard...and the short answer is just because they're narcissistic.
