I like the smell of patchouli oil, do you?

I'm not a pot head or a hippie but I still like the smell. My scent diffuser is currently wafting the scent in my house.

I first got introduced to the scent, though I didn't know what it was, from one of my HE-Man figures. It was the skunk guy. Turns out his plastic was soaked in patchouli oil. After 30 some years it still holds the scent.

I like the smell of a patchouli plant a lot better. They were selling them at a little garden center a couple years ago and wish I'd gotten one.

I cannot stand the smell of patchouli. If smell someone wearing it, I go as far as to avoid that person as much as possible. It’s funny how different smells appeal to people differently.

You guys need to separate the scents usual association. Disassociate the scent.

I am talking about a subtle scent of it. When it's strong then yeah it's pretty bad.

That was invented by Dominic Patchouli an Italian perfume maker in the early 60s - the oil was used to cover up the smell of the hippies in the Haight - Ashbury district in San Francisco, CA
