if it was for music only then yes. 😊

For all the great concerts, absolutely. You can only attend those in the moment. As far as the technology to look back, this is a great era. For example, I can get on YouTube and be watching Deep Purple’s Cal Jam concert from 1974 in less than a minute. @SW-User

I need to catch them before they hang it up. Ian Paice has always been one of my favorite drummers. I just saw Glenn Hughes solo a few months ago, and his entire set list is Mark III and Mark IV Deep Purple material. If you like “Burn”, “Stormbringer”, and “Come Taste the Band”, his entire set comes from those three records. @SW-User

@SW-User I saw them about 3 years ago at a small venue here. cheap tickets and holy crap they were good. Brought the house down. Although it was without John Lord R.I.P

I would have loved to have seen them with Lord and Blackmore. Glenn Hughes has a keyboardist in his band that plays and old school Hammond, so they nail that classic Lord sound live. Don Airey plays with more modern gear from what I’ve seen in clips.

@SW-User Nice... I couldn't believe how good they were live.. absolutely spectacular. I forget the singer's name damnit but he was so good.

Ian Gillan is the current singer and was the singer in the “Mark II” era, which was the lineup that had the iconic hits for them. Gillan had a couple of solo bands in the late 70’s that were great and definitely worth checking out if you can find any of their old records. @SW-User
