Do you ever find peace in connecting with others?

I was walking in a sea of people with my friends as we explored Georgetown area of D.C. today and a man looking homeless came along with a tree in his hands. This tree was as tall as he was and at first, I thought he was homeless and he seemed tired. I went to offer him help with the tree but he told me he was okay and introduced himself. We will call him G, because his name started with G. He immediately began talking as to how he was working hard on trying to change a small memorial for Francis Scott Key with swindling lights into the International Peace Park :)

At first, you think they're ambitious, but I let him keep talking and I just got mesmerized standing for almost an hour listening to him go on about how he traveled the world, how he speaks over 30 languages and I did not believe him until he started to for about 7 in a row, then I quit the challenge. He told me his biggest dream was to just end the bloodshed overseas and he's going to work his old soul until it collapses doing so. I stand by him and will want to see the day an International Peace Park stands in my home town. I loved listening to him :)
He kept going on like he was my grandfather. Full Santas lumberjack beard and he has an awesome spiderman hat he found om the floor XD
