Do u paint with oil? Can u share some tips and tricks of creating the perfect oil painting

I do paint with oil. I believe the perfect oil painting starts with the layout and lighting. I paint landscapes and still life.

Uuuuuhhh tbh I consider myself kind of bad with oils... My tip is to watch videos and pictures of paintings and try to understand how they do the strokes etc.

My tip is going to youtube and typing in something like "oil painting tips" and then watching some videos. 🤔

Don’t apply a lot of oil to the canvas when painting, it takes longer to dry and you can easily mess up your picture.
