This is not how I thought my Wednesday would go...

From last post: I decided to let my sister stay at my house, for about a week.

So my sister and I are hanging out, both tired from working late last night. At one point we decided to rent a movie.

Now for those who don’t know, I live in Canada. It’s snows a lot there. Like a lot .

It snowed last night and it stuck. There were no weather warnings so I figured it was safe to drive.

Man, was I wrong.

I realized this as soon as I pulled out of the driveway. Now, you’re probably saying “why didn’t you just pull back in and call it quits?”

The answer is simple: My sister

I love my sister, she’s family after all. She’s just a pain in the butt sometimes. Like tonight. As we drive about 5mph we start hitting the thick, sharp ice on the road. As you might imagine, the sharp ice popped our tire. I’m currently sitting in a corner booth at McDonald’s (for the free WiFi, duh) waiting for the tow truck. Luckily my sister had a coupon my food.

So yeah, how’s your Wednesday going?
Don't Canadians not only drive in those conditions but then drive up a mountain, get out take a lift, that consists of a park bench hung way up in the air, up to the very top of the mountain, strap a plastic board under their feet and slide back down to the bottom???

That really McSucks.
I've had that day. Bummer. But ... the tow truck will arrive, you have a full belly. The movie would've been lousy anyway, and you have a story to tell.
At least you are warm and dry.
