How do you motivate yourself to do things?

I recently moved, but I gotta go to my old apartment and pick up some things today. Not a big deal, it's pretty close, but it's snowing and I really don't want to go outside just yet 😭

How do you motivate yourself when you gotta do something you don't want to?

Now may not seem like an ideal time but it's probably not a bad time either. What happenes if you wait until there isn't much time left and then there's an ice storm? (Or any other obstacle in a long line of possibilities)

It's probably better to just get it over with.
