@MartinTheFirst Gallup poll from a few years ago polled Americans asking them to self-describe their sexuality. It was a large, statistically valid survey.
3.4% identified as something other than heterosexual.

@HoraceGreenley hard to believe when you can count the straight guys on your fingers
BlueVeins · 22-25
@MartinTheFirst You must not know many people if you can do that.
MartinTheFirst · 22-25, M
@BlueVeins is that an assumption?
BlueVeins · 22-25
@MartinTheFirst No, it's a conclusion about your life that relies on stats and assumptions. I mean, ~95% of all people are heterosexual; assuming that you don't spend your whole life in extremely gay-skewed populations, you'd be almost statistically guaranteed to meet more than 10 straight people after a couple dozen encounters.
Fuck, I could fill that list with just famous people if I wanted to. Michelle and Barrack Obama, Donald and Melania Trump, Hillary and Bill Clinton, Ed Sheeran, Bill Gates, Oprah Winfrey, and Mark Zuckerberg without breaking a sweat. It's really easy to do if you pay attention to anything or anyone.
