When you walk down the street and see kids dressed as things that clearly aren’t scary don’t you feel angry

They are engaging in something I already hate and they’re doing it wrong
Am I being too harsh 😂

I think it isn't in the spirit of the holiday and waters it down to be honest. Then again many schools won't allow anything gory or scary anymore and many are even going as far as not allowing g it to be called a Halloween event at school but a harvest celebration because it might offend a religion.🙄

To hell with wholesome. We deal with that garbage 364 days a year and it is boooooring.

@MethDozer maybe. We can have halloween so that we can eat all the artificial sweeteners and then all there is left is the food we harvested

@AndrewtheAlu Yah... It technically is a harvest festival and that is basically what it was on a plain English way of putting it.

I just think it is dumb some schools and groups feel a need to not call.it what is by name and instead have to use the description of it on order to appease a small groups sensibilities. You think Halloween or any holiday is offensive? Duck off in the corner and don't participate. Why we have to change to include you with special treatment?

@MethDozer I don’t remember ever having anything to do with halloween at school anyway. Halloween was the evening but it was just a regular school day

@AndrewtheAlu We got to wear our costume and had punch during recess.
A lot of schools do something g like that or bigger these days though. I get why a kid would pick a costume they can wear for that instead of one they couldn't.

He'll now many kids don't even go trick or treating. The parents send them to the school or a red center that night to get candy instead
