That is my opinion borne out by my life experience. I was orphaned in my late teens, put myself through college and grad school working every day of my life. I raised three daughters after my wife died and didnt ask anyone to bear my burden.

I know what works and thats personal responsibility. Only a fool thinks it takes a village. You are not a generous person simply because youre willing to spend my money.

Hers a thought experiment for you: Detail precisely how one man's need becomes another man's obligation. Give me each step in the process without relying on some notion of how I'm supposed to care.
