Why are my nights always bad ?

After childhood trauma I can be happy all day and push through but the night time always seems to cause harm
I hate that for you. I’m so sorry. As Serenitree mentioned, it takes quite awhile to recover from PTSD. You think you’re over it, then it shows up again unexpectedly.
I’ve used MSM successfully at times, but can’t stay on it too long. Good in low doses, and never before bedtime. Take early morning.

Of course, that's when you stop being busy, and there's nothing keeping the thoughts at bay. I wish there was an easy answer, but this is not an easy thing to work through. I don't know what your trauma was, but PTSD can last a very long time.

I've heard that meditation can help, but I've never mastered it. I use self hypnosis for pain management, but never tried it for stress.

What kind of trauma happened in childhood? You can talk about it, if you feel like it.
