social media captures the happy and exciting moments..no one posts on social media how lonely they feel or how a girl/boyfriend cheated on them..if you do consider them your friends then i suggest you unsuscribe from social media completely!!! meaning keep yourself from checking their status altogether..focus on yourself because it sounds that its not where they are in their lives that bothers you, it is where you are/aren't in yours that does so start with loking at your life write down what areas can be improved or change and work on that..make yourself happy and then once your are content with your life you wont bother comparing it to others 😉

People show you want they want to. Sometimes things look wonderful and they actually are not. I don't put much truth in facebook posts.
NO DEFINITELY NOT. DON'T DO IT , IF YOU STILL CARE FOR THEM THEN DO IT. I LEFT MY ONLY BEST FRIEND YEARS AGO BECAUSE I ALSO FEEL LIKE THAT AND YET THROUGH THE YEARS I STILL CARE AND WONDER HOWIS SHE DOING RIGHT NOW. DO NOT MAKE DECISIONS FOR TEMPORARY FEELINGS, REMEMBER WHAT YOU ARE DEALING/FEELING RIGHT NOW IS ONLY FOR TTEMPORARY.

Good advice, feelings change and decisions can be permanent.

People only highlight what they want to mention, the persona they want others to see them as. Few are doing as well as they say, there's a reason people always say 'I can't believe it... He always seemed so happy, like he had everything..'. Don't worry about them, focus on you being happy through all things and on the positive side of life

I'd say you should keep your friends, in case you need them to help you through this rough patch and get to where you can be a better version of yourself.
And remember, most people don't air out their dirty laundry on Facebook. They could be going through horrible things right now too, but choose to post only positive things to save face.
I hope things start looking up for you soon.

Ask for help and support from your friends. When you feel down, it's important to maintain friendships and refuse to put yourself down constantly. You will have your big exciting times, too.

Some people peak early, some late.
