Is that a desperation thing or a wiser with age thing?

I'm still thinking on this. I think it is a lot more complicated than how desperate they are or whether or not they now appreciate larger women. All sorts of things can change in 25-30 years, things a younger person can't always comprehend.
I've always liked larger women but some of the women I would have found interesting 30 years ago wouldn't interest me now and some of the women I find interesting now wouldn't have interested me 30 years ago. It's not that my standards have went up or down, it's more that I can see potential problems more clearly and have a better understanding of who I may or may not be compatible with.
