@Noble @Fungirlmmm I work in the trades, and a close friend of mine works in a different department. I was busting his balls about “How can you work construction, and not drink f_cking coffee?” I knew immediately after I said it that I made a mistake when he repeated my words back to me, and put beer in there instead... so then he said “I start drinking coffee today,” filled a cup and drank it. I was like... dammit. No getting out of this...
When I was in high school we snuck beer that I hated already, and of course we were stupid and I got drunk and threw up beer that I hated to begin with... so YEARS after that even the smell was too much. It was a coincidence that my bet took place when I was 40, but easy for me to remember. Funny thing was, I tried the beer that weekend... AND I LIKED IT.
The rest is history; I now know more about beer than your average Joe... and I go to brewfests, and even help out in the brewing process with a buddy who is well beyond your simple home brewer... I like almost all kinds of beer, with a lean towards IPA’s... not to keen on Gose or sours with wild yeast...
