What is it with people who don’t accept responsibility?

[c=#4C0073]This guy just honestly said a man who abandons his child isn’t at fault?!?[/c]

The favourite excuse I've often heard is "they felt it was for the best not to be confusing the child with the pulling too and fro between the parents"...ask the child when they're older how that made them feel!

@Primnproper [c=#7700B2]thats just it. They don’t care about how the kid feels or how the kid had to grow up because they weren’t contributing. That’s just something they say to keep people from labeling them deadbeats.[/c]

@VioletRayne I know..my own father walked away after having a 2 yr affair, I was 7..he saw me once then didn't bother until I was 40 then decided he wanted to get to know me..it was 33 yrs too late. I used to wish for a father that wanted me every christmas..I had 2 step fathers that were no good either.

@Primnproper [c=#4C0073]Thats why I’m so scared to be with anyone. I don’t want to bring a guy into my children’s life for them to turn out to be a dud too 😔[/c]

@VioletRayne well I guess the secret is get to know them well first as a friend before you introduce them as a partner..it's easier to explain a friend that goes missing than letting someone move into your life permanently from the outset.

@Primnproper [c=#4C0073]Oh I would never😱 I meant the friends at some point the kid realizes what’s going on [/c]

@VioletRayne well you can't put your life on hold, you've just got to be sensible and not rush things..
