@VioletRayne easy for people who don't have a disease eating their spine to tell me things I need to do (and I say that with no disrespect to you )
I pushed myself so long to do for others that now I can hardly do for me
I was planning on returning to my music ,I do a gig every year south of Daytona
and from there my Grandson ,myself ,my cousin who is my bass player and someone he knew to play drums ,we were going to start doing a few clubs again ,maybe travel over the summer a little ,,but my cousin passed away suddenly in June
He went down while he was practicing ,died the next day
So I have been in a little funk since
But I am moving maybe this month ,,I have rented a studio
its closer to my kids (LoL )I am going to do some recording ,see where I go from there
When your in pain all the time ,and you have devoted your life to looking after others ,,it sucks to wake up one day and get it they're all dead
and since I am the one we assumed had the worst health ,now I am left to ask why
Why am I still here ?My cousin and I could play just the 2 of us and pack a house
Just hard to believe he is gone ,,,when I went on a trip I went home and spent a week playing somewhere with him ,he was actually the bass player for 2 bands that have weekly Gigs ,so I loved going home once in a while and setting in
But I am a survivor ,and an expert at starting over
But its always to be there for someone else ,Grandpa ,Dad then Mom and always my kids
So its new ,,,what do I want to do with me ,,,and with a extremely bad back
I normally do the first part of a set standing ,,take a break and then use a bar stool .
So we"ll see ,maybe the move will readjust my attitude

@rckt148 [c=#4C0073]I was unaware of your condition and really you don’t have to do anything if you don’t want to. At this time in your life it’s time for others to take care of you. I was saying if you want to get out n do things there are ways.
I understand that you are grieving and I’m sorry to hear about your cousin but you seem to be a very strong, resilient person. I have no doubt that you will accomplish whatever you have set for yourself to do. I wish you nothing but the best.[/c]

@Stereoguy Well I rented a studio ,and not an apartment ,I did also rent a house ,,,but a recording studio
It belonged to another friend of mine that was killed last july 4th
Its actually a bar ,with a pool table ,and a full stage ,all of his equipment still set up ,and I have all mine ,,it would take a rig to haul it all
its all set up for recording ,,SM58 mics ,2 Roland keyboard
8 4/12 Marshal speakers ,2 marshal head ,,Fender bass amp
rack mount Pa more controls than I know what to do with
A Marshal multi effect module with a wah wah built in (I have my own but its no where as nice as his )I have no even looked at all the guitars in there
Its all sitting there ready to go ,,I have to just move
But I have been here 23 yrs ,raised my kids here ,so I am keeping this place too
But I will be making a change soon ,I am sure it will get me out of the funk i've been in
As to my back I have an autoimmune disease eating my spine ,its not getting any better ,,but they said I would be in a wheelchair no latter than 45 ,
Well I am still walking ,its not over until its over
Then the fat lady can sing at my memorial LOL
