@SimplyTracie The problem with that argument is that it is never used to compromise. For example, you never hear someone say 'legal in certain circumstances, but illegal in all others. It is only ever is as a tactic to force the pro lifer to weaken his position.
@TheProphet Out of genuine curiosity, do you believe in the death penalty? For example, if on the jury of the man that shot up the nightclub in Florida, would you vote for the death penalty?
So it's ok to kill as long as they are old enough? Wouldn't you deciding if someone should die be the same as the guy who pulled the trigger? I know I sound like an ass, I apologize. However, it does sound hypocritical. You can choose who lives and dies, but a woman who is raped by a relative should be forced to carry that child to term?
Actually, technically, taking a life is taking a life. If your argument is either biblical or moral, killing is killing. "All life is sacred" and all that.
