My friend (Tim) recently separated from his wife (Emily) as she cheated on him with a guy named Mark. They have a kid named Ethan who is 7. Today, Ethan said to me that he had seen texts on his mom's phone from a guy named Mark. He went bright red and seemed reluctant to discuss it. Do I mention it to Tim?

If you feel the need to say anything to anyone, maybe you could try having a quiet word with Emily to be more careful with her phone in future if you feel that the contents of her texts are inappropriate for her son to see... but even there, she still has the right to tell you to mind your own business.
