My friend (Tim) recently separated from his wife (Emily) as she cheated on him with a guy named Mark. They have a kid named Ethan who is 7. Today, Ethan said to me that he had seen texts on his mom's phone from a guy named Mark. He went bright red and seemed reluctant to discuss it. Do I mention it to Tim?

He’s not your kid... if he is embarrass by it he will talk to his mom or dad. As a friend you be there for your friend to support whatever decisions he makes, you don’t butt in and cause more drama. If it doesn’t personally affect you then stay out of it.

Sounds like you’ve already made up your mind, so why’d you ask for advice? Many people have said they think it’s not your place to say anything but you seem to think that you need to insert yourself into other people lives and business. You do you, but don’t ask for people’s advice when you already know what you want to do and just argue the opposite of what people say.
