It was built by the strong. Defended by the steadfast and even conquered by the bold.

Evolution would dictate otherwise. From an evolutionary standpoint the current Human way of handling conflict is still in it's infancy Human traits will change as Humans evolve.

Passivity is a more a form of conditioning/brainwashing than a matter of "breeding".
It has been the men in power that have/continue to control their choke by keeping "The People" (women & men) passive and beholden.
When Power tightens the screws to purposely jolt the passive into outrage it is to the Power's advantage not the People"s.
A divided humanity cannot fight a united evil.
