@Loretta78 Haha it depends on my energy level, interest and time available. My answers vary from well thought out to one word responses

@Mrsbetweenfatandfit If it's legal and regulated, it should be able to reduce or even eliminate child prostitution and STD's, and people earning money from it get to pay tax and have superannuation... Also it reduces police corruption. Australia legalized it 30 years ago and the world did not stop turning.

@walabby I know many places have cleaned it up to make it work someday the US will catch up

I am experienced in prostitution. I didn't do it myself but I have worked for some months together with forced prostitutes (as a social worker). I really can't see any good sites in illegal prostitution... 😒

@walabby EXACTLY. And furthermore there would be protection for both parts: The prostitutes AND the customers (by regularly health tests of the prostitutes).

@Mrsbetweenfatandfit Here's a very true, if funny, story. On our honeymoon we were driving through France. We got completely lost, I was exhausted driving, it was very late. We arrived at the outskirts of a god-forsaken place called Bar-le-Duc. In desperation we entered what looked like a tavern. Very rowdy. The woman behind the bar looked very surprised when I enquired about a room. She handed me a key, advising me to lock the door. It was only when we were in bed that I realised from the noises all around that it was probably a brothel. I didn't tell my new wife that until we were driving away the following morning.
