Why do people use speaker phone in public for every thing?

It's to let everyone know that they are important and do actually have one friend!

Or talk real loudly so you have no choice but to hear all their conversation. Attention seekers...

Because people have officially given up on privacy.

They want you to know they have friends and you don't.

Yeah that stuff should definitely be kept private. Although I’m sure the person on your end is still probably going to be talking about it.

No idea. That always bugged me. It was equally annoying when I was talking in the phone to someone who decided to do that. I didn't want everyone around her knowing my business. 😒

Probably because it’s hard to hear on the phone in public. Of course, that’s why I don’t have lengthy conversations in public, I text.
