@bijouxbroussard Naw, the etymological roots may come from old English, but Norsemen were always the main practitioners of it. It also only came full-on to Scotland around the 15th century, whereas it had been in Scandinavia way longer.
(I also believe it might be the etymological root for Norwegian "flyte" meaning "to flow" though I'm not sure. It'd be rad if it is though)
