"Men": What's the logic behind honking your car at us and all the catcall?

@Primnproper It makes you uncomfortbale..especially when alone or when they get in your face.. or when they FOLLOW YOU. Yeah sometimes its laughable but too much is too much.

Oh and one guy called me nigga cause i ignored him catcalling me. Yeah can't laugh at that

@celine211 well of course there are going to be some times they may go overboard but mostly here it's just guys acting out..I see plenty of girls driving around doing it too..

@SW-User then like me if you know your own worth why is it even an issue if someone calls out, if you don't like it you ignore and move on. You would get more hassle if you made an issue out of it then just laughing it off..women have gotten ridiculously over sensitive over such silly things.

@Primnproper Yes, men rape, beat up, and murder women at an alarming rate. Why shouldn't you view a man who is shouting at you in an aggressive way that clearly demonstrates they do not respect you as a person as a threat?

@SW-User nobody mentioned in an aggressive way? the most I've encountered have never shown any aggression..if you retaliate in an aggressive way you could even encourage a negative response.you seem as though you hugely over react..no wonder guys can't breathe nowadays with over sensitive women jumping on their backs..

@celine211 @SW-User my loyalty in this discussion is to the two of you. I agree with you. It seems to me most women want to be respected as more than just a piece of meat and fuckable and I really don't think self worth should come down to how "Fuckable" you are to men. I've always thought highly of women and Catcalling in particular just strikes me as really disrespectful. It's not really that much of a compliment to be objectified. when I give compliments to women I go out of my way to avoid anything about their appearance because I want to demonstrate a respect for their brains or their emotional center not their bodies.

@PDXNative1986 no woman would consider a man that behaves in this way as a prospective partner but most of us don't believe they're are potential killers either as it's got nothing to do with how it makes the woman feel because I'm not sure that's even an issue for most women. They wouldn't take an approach like that seriously. But I respect your view.

@celine211 yes but they could be catcalling at 40 plus women! If you want to discuss the differences that crop up when older men do it to young girls then fine, I have no argument with that it's not appropriate..but same age range it's no big deal they are just idiotic guys messing around.

We're both into left wing politics. I didn't chose her because she's beautiful (She is.) I choose her because she's got a huge heart and it is so big and compassionate and nurturing and empathetic.

I don't Catcall women because I respect their intelligence I mean I read their books.

I think most women would rather be complimented for their Wit and intelligence than their bodies. Just a guess. But who knows. I'm not the Girl whisperer. I just know a thing or two about the opposite sex.
