Can you narrate your past focusing on your achievements instead of failures?
What do you see?

That's what I like so much about the past. It can't be changed.

@NankerPhelge But we can change the way it ends.. ;)

@proteus What's been done's been done. We can't undo it.

@NankerPhelge We can change the situation it has lead us to.

@proteus What do you mean?
proteus · 51-55, M
@NankerPhelge The past has brought us where we are now. We are here because of our past. But can change that by moving on to another direction.
So, we cannot change the past, but we can change its effect on us.

@proteus You are trying to move this conversation in another direction - the future. We may be able to change that or we may not.

@NankerPhelge All I am trying to say is that if we see our past from a different angle, we may feel capable of re-designing our future. Different view of the past may lead to a different perspective of the future.

@proteus I can always concentrate on the positive things instead of the negative, but it still doesn't put me in a different position.
