If a person is lonely does that mean that they are kind not to hold on someone or might been cruel that no one wants to be with them?

OR it just means that they are lonely. There could be 1000s of reasons for their lonelyness depending on their personality, society thei live in, jobs, changing residence... everyperson is different as are their circumstances.
