My stepdad use to be like that exactly he can still be at times but it’s not as bad as it use to be. His presence still annoys me at times though, even when he’s not doing anything.

I have a few family members who have not spoken too or seen each other in fifty years or more because of different gang affiliations. Really! I don't think you can get more dysfunctional than that.
