I was working for a rather larger Company. *American Express* & mailing out their monthly bills. Thanks ALL above I never had to service the incoming phone calls. Those were handled in another building.
Now back to your question. You have reviews, You have updates on your performance. Most companies have to schedule Vacation days. If you're sick... I suppose falls into another category. Sometimes rules change to accompany a situation. You cannot switch a vacation day with a sick day.
Again... it depends on the Company rules you applied for.

@Carla1951 it had nothing to do with company's rule. He asked me because mostly in our community people get married at early age like in early 20's
