Why do people ask about marriage at job interviews? :/

To women!! They don't ask men..because if they're married they might plan to have kids..and what would that mean maternity leave

@SW-User he asked why you're not married? ... i'd be pissed its personal i would politely ask what it has to do with being able to do the job at hand insetd of answering
