Do you think in this day and age men and women are set against each other ?

Do you think because of men and women being pitted against each other it maybe has resulted in difficulties relating to each other?
I can take of numerous friends and myself who treat women respectful

@John2019 Sure. I have personal examples myself.

I don't think men and women are pitted against against each other.

I think there's a consistent message that women don't matter.

And I don't base that on #MeToo. I base that on the women in my life at any given time beating beaten, getting cheated on, or having to deal with some bullshit in the workplace.

@John2019 Absolutely there are many dishonest women. That is not my point.

In relationships ...men tend to be passive. They think telling women "what they want to hear" is the way to go. The way to keep women happy.


Women seek truth...we are simple but men make us complicated in their minds.

We do not want to be told what they think we want to hear. 9 times out of 10 we would rather have the harsh truth.


Instead we are told half truths. This could be about absolutely anything at all. Even the smallest little stuff. That then turns into bigger stuff because they did not just spit the shit out in the first place.

This tends to happen in the end of relationships most often.

So this begins the cycle of man getting irritated at the questioning and the womans need for answers and the man pushing back and continuouly spitting out the best thing they can that they think will suffice to shut us up.

This leads to women ranting (hehe) about men. ("That bitch was crazy)

And men ranting about women.(he is a piece of shit liar and manipulator)

This divides men and women and puts them on different Plaines....

The next relationship already starts with bias held by each against the other.

We all do that tho to some point, not face the truth.

I think sometime out of it comes considerable change. Which brings with it good and bad.

We put things off, which are little to begin with and then grow into huge monsters.

But I think both males and females do that. It's a human thing which comes from fear I think and not wanting paradoxily to hurth the other.

But I agree if you can be honest and talk about everything thing something good can come out of that.

But I think it's the fear of not being accepted or being treated differently which stops that honesty I think.

Can you honestly say that you can tell another person everything about yourself all the crooked bits along with the good ?

In my estimations not an easy thing to do by a long shot. I include myself in that bracket 😁

I respect women and would not want to control anyone, collaboration is much better and promotes growth in life I think
