Do you think it's ethical to force a suicidal person to live? Does this infringe on our right to free choice in what we want to do with our lives?

that's an age old argument. there's so many sides in it honestly. most say " think about everyone else" but for many, that's exactly WHY they desire to end it. which leaves them with even more guilt, as they feel living is a burden on those people and now so is dying. seems kind of torturous. at what point are our lives our OWN? that is a very good question to ask. why must we live for everyone else, but not be able to die for ourselves? where's the line? if you're sick? have some disease with no quality of life? if you have a mental condition for which there is no cure? it's one everyone will have a different answer on. but i can guarantee lots of them will be "you should think of everyone else" it might sound bad.. but that's always sounded a bit selfish to me... bout as selfish as most view suicide itself as being.🤷
