What is the longest it has taken you to get home from work due to road closures, detours, etc.

It took me 90 minutes to go 15 miles. Ugh! 😡

Four and a half hours to go what usually takes 20 minutes. Snow was the excuse. Idiots were the reason.

[@4431,Serenitree] ☺ Thanks for best answer. Here's a pic from Canada. Enjoy.

The longest when I was commuting was two extra hours when the train was closed down. But after the Loma Prieta earthquake a couple of my colleagues slept on my sofa bed because they couldn't get back across the bridge at all.
Not from work but once I moved and there happened to be a snowstorm, people going in ditches all over. It took about 7 or 8 hours to make it about 100 miles.
[@689800,wildflowerz] Wow!

[@134288,cycleman] Oh my gosh! I would've been crying all the way home.
