was it stupid of me?

in 2009 when i was 8 yrs old i went to a market named Hong kong market in my town in india because it sells chinese products. from there i asked my parents to buy me a RC airplane there. it was a chinese product and quite costly. but i started crying and then they brought me the airplane. then when i took it home i flew it but it only worked for some 10 minutes and stopped working and it never worked again. we had to keep it in the showcase then. and that way lots of money got wasted. please dont judge me i was only 8 yrs old that time
