Problems are temporary. You'll get through them.

Albert Ellis, one of the fathers of cognitive behavioural therapy, wrote that we are remarkably good at disturbing ourselves – in other words, the way we think can undermine our own resilience.

Many years ago, something came to mind that I've used all my life, with great success. I was going through one of the hardest times of my life, when it dawned on me, that it's not what happens to us in life; it's what we do with what we have left, that counts.

You'll surely make it through. We always do. It's there for the lesson. What's a shame, is when we are unteachable.

Never give up, and never waste the gift of life. Make it count.
