Assault weapons...not a problem?

@lulaluboo the problem is that the mentally ill can legally buy assault weapons

@lorne13 we have roughly the same number of guns, and our country as we do cars,.
And the death rates are remarkably similar.
My question is at what point do we require a person to use cars, or weapons, to undergo some psychological screening.

@SatyrService Obama signed a bill to ensure that mentally impaired people could NOT buy a gun...trump tore it up and disposed of that the second he got in the WH

@SatyrService and since car owners have insurance why not gun owners? What company would insure a psycho?

@lorne13 yes gun companies, insurers and gun owners would have skin in the game. Nice idea, doubt we'll see it..

@fun4us2b agreed, gun owners would probably claim the constitution says they dont need insurance
