Why is humanity so backwards?

People have more sympathy & compassion for a stray animal than a homeless person.

I'm currently not homeless, but I was. My own family have more love for animals than they care about me. It's painful. Hard to live with.

People act like the poor, needy & suffering deserve their hell on earth. Something bad happened to you? People say that you deserve it.

My daughter loves homeless people. She's always wanting to donate food to the poor. Of course, she also confuses hipsters with homeless, but still.

@darktippedrose I never really depended on my family. I get SSI & Social Security, so that's how I would get my own place.

My twin sister is set for life! The richest in the family, without having to work. She hates me so much that she wouldn't even give me a penny! But the woman she's gay with can live off of her for free.

Damn! relatives can be weird like that.

my kids are also on SSI because of their autism and such. I'm glad you got out of it. Life just happens sometimes. No rhyme or reason.
