What would you do if you didn't know what to do?

Depends on the scale of the problem.
However, what I do is ask a lot of people, or read a lot of opinions, and take what I beleieve to be the best bits and form them into advice and use that.

fart then go down to my secret underground lair and lay out a diagnostic plan to destroy the planet before anyone finds out i am without a clue in life.
