Was it hard for you to get used to driving?

I find it really difficult for me... I feel completely useless and I have no idea how I got my driving license. I feel so clueless and without confidence completely, that I am making super stupid mistakes. And I am so afraid that I will end up hurting someone or cause an accident. Was there something what helped you overcome the fear?
You need to build your confidence. Just drive to local places first....then gradually expand. Practice practice practice. Maybe until you are confident...take an experienced driver with you at all times.

Practice and experience. Like with anything new. I used to love taking drives along less traveled roads to increase my confidence level and learn to relax behind the wheel. You’ll get there. Be patient with yourself.

I guess it was about me getting out there and practicing, on less busy times and when I was travelling, giving myself extra time to get somewhere. Especially overseas

Take a defensive driving course. You will gain skills on the road ad hopefully that will lead to confidence.

No. I had go-karts when I was a kid. I can say that the more you do it, the easier it gets. The part where you're concerned about which move you make it important, as long as it doesn't hinder your regular driving.
